    On our furlough, we spent a week in Carrizo waiting...

    Rositas became our go to place after hesitating for months!

    Love the salad bar. Not a ton of options but I dont really need a lot for a simple salad. Lettuce was fresh! I ordered the buffet every time, and it was overall for $9.99 - minus senior discount pretty decent each time.

    Two things for -1 star, iced tea is strong and bitter but all iced tea in texas is all very strong. And my hubby's steak was a little tough but very good tasting.

    They had a buffet when I went in and man it was very good specially for the price.
    They had carne guisada, picadillo, hard shell tacos, enchiladas, charro beans, they had a fresh vegetable soup (very good), salad, some desserts (I wasn't into to that).
    The food was great. I definitely would go there again.
    Coming from Houston, I know.

    Great patio
    Good limey margarita
    Unfortunately the portions are huge - I wished they had a couple a'la cartel options for a simple  lunch (single taco/ Guac salad)

    Excellent service-   We are visiting from out of town but we will be back

    Great small town restaurant. We stopped in for breakfast not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. I got the Migas and they were delicious. Their tortillas and salsa  really made the meal great. The staff was very nice and attentive.
